Another car winner has emerged in the Glo Festival of Joy promotion. The
latest winner is 52-year-old banker, Anthony Ukpu, who drove home a brand new Suzuki car at a presentation ceremony held in Warri, Delta State, on Tuesday, December 6.
Several winners also went home with other amazing prizes including power
generators, sewing machines and rechargeable fans which they won in the
promo.
The car winner, Ukpu, who hails from Isoko South Local Government Area
in Delta State narrated his exciting journey to the car prize: ”I joined
the promo about three weeks ago after dialing *611#.
Since then I have been recharging consistently, with 5,000 being the minimum. My target was either the house or the car.
Last week, while talking to my wife, I
prophesied that I will win either a house or a car in the ongoing Glo
promo by December. Today I still recharged with 5,000 in the morning and
by noon I got a call from Glo that I won a car”.
He was also full of appreciation to Globacom. “Tell me which network is
better than Glo?, They are really taking care of Nigerians.
I don’t regret being on the Glo network since inception and making its SIM my
number one contact”, he said.
Other winners also thanked Globacom for taking care of the needs of its subscribers. For a Warri-based technician, Toyin Aiyenuberu, his
generator is the perfect Christmas gift, just as Jolomi Ateto, a nurse who won a rechargeable fan said it would be useful in this hot season.
She commended Globacom for always giving Nigerians the opportunity to win prizes every year. Similarly, Rachael Pessu, who won a sewing machine said she was delighted to have won the item out of millions of customers on the Glo network. “To God be the glory, I will use it in my fashion business”, she stated
The special guest of honour at the event and Chairman, House Committee on Health, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Augustine Uroye, said the promo is an excellent empowerment initiative by Globacom, adding that “what they promised is being presented to the people across the country, including in Warri here today.
They have done well and I encourage Nigerians to keep recharging to be able to win more prizes, especially the houses and cars”.
The event was attended by Nollywood’s Roseline Meurer and Nosa Rex, and Glo dealer and Managing Director of Stanmats Resources Limited, Mr. Omatsayinone Stanley, amongst other guests.
