World Tourism Day: Ikosi-Isheri Celebrate Two Day Annual Culture Carnival

In commemoration of the World Tourism Day, the Ikosi Isheri Council boss Chief Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, celebrate 2nd edition of ikosi -isheri Magodo Annual Culture carnival which was held at CMD event center Magodo lagos

The annual carnival which drew different ethnics groups across the communities showcased their rich cultural heritage in divert culture in their dancing and wares, the Arewa communities which are populated at the most popular mile 12 market, spiced the programme with their dancers, also the Egun dancers, itsekeri dancers, ibo dancers, Bata dancers with popular afro beat musician to energized the show.

The boss the council mayoress Abolanle Bada expressed satisfaction about the programe according to her ” this is our second edition of the program that is used to unify our people, making them understand that despite our different tongues we are unified with common goal that is why we are always making impacts in our different field, also we wish to make the world know that we are one in ikosi isheri lcda, it was a 3 days program that have impact our lives more “.

Meanwhile, the wife of the Governor of Lagos state Mrs Ibijoke Sanwo olu commended the mayoress on her laudable gesture in unity the people in one accord, she also urged other well meaning politicians to imbibed such gesture so as to make our state and country to be united for progress, Mrs ibijoke saluted Nigeria at 62 and look forward a successful Election.

In same vein, Hon. Olayiwola Subour,(Mushin) Hon Rotimi Olowo, (Somolu)Hon Ganiyu Okolanwo(Kosofe 01) and Hon Femi Saheed (Kosofe 02) from lagos state house of Assembly stressed of united people that will crave way for a united state and country respectively .

The programe was well attended by Local. Government Chairmen, members representing kosofe, Mushin, Somolu , Royal Fathers and Political leaders in the communities as giving out prizes was the highlight of the day.
